The Humanitarian and International Partnerships Department (HIPD) Team recently had the privilege of participating in the Strategic Review Workshop and Conference, which took place in the picturesque city of Colombo, Sri Lanka from the 23rd to the 28th of October. This event, which gathered MH staff from around the world, was hosted by Muslim Hands Lanka and significantly benefited from the invaluable support of the Muslim Hands Global Operations Development Department and the Programs Department UK.

During this workshop, the HIPD Team was actively engaged in a comprehensive review of Muslim Hands’ operations from the previous year. The event also provided a platform for introducing novel systems aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our endeavors. Furthermore, the organization underwent strategic role restructuring to accommodate its anticipated growth in the future.

The workshop discussions revolved around various challenges identified during the review process, and participants shared valuable insights and experiences. In addition to these discussions, we explored the incorporation of attributes concerning partnership development and project management within our systems, with the goal of fostering institutional partnerships and development. This strategic addition of institutional needs to our systems will further strengthen our capacity to meet the diverse requirements of all our valued partners.

This strategic event marked a pivotal milestone in our unwavering commitment to delivering impactful humanitarian aid and ensuring that our initiatives remain in harmony with the evolving needs and dynamics of the communities we serve.
